Have just returned from Amsterdam where we stayed in a self-catering flat, very conveniently located just
a 15 minute tram ride from Centraal Station. Very quiet street but half a block away is a busier street, with trams plus a
very good supermarket, snack bars, restaurants, wonderful fruit shop, fish shop and general all purpose shops. The apartment
has its own entrance on the ground floor, so there is no need to negotiate flights of steep Amsterdam stairs!!The same internet
site also has two other apartments in other locations. We stayed in apartment C. The rates are very reasonable and much cheaper
than hotels. The owner Paul is very reliable and informative and like most Dutch, speaks excellent English. We will definitely
use one of his apartments when we return to Amsterdam.

These are great aprtments. Stayed in both apt A and
B....A is nice all on ground floor, it says 2 bed rooms but more like 1 and half, one on the walls in one is more like a curtain,
but still private. Its a bit of a walk from central, but right on a bus route and youre at CS in 5min. Apartmetn B is locacted
maybe a 500yds from Barneys Popeye and much of the shopping area. Its a split level apt with some wicked stairs from the kitchen
to the living room/second bedroom. the living room area does have a low ceiling, but there is stretch room in the bedroom
and bathroom. loved these apts and would stay at either again, preferbly B. Paul gives better rates for longer stays

Hi Danna,
The mini:
This flat was perfect! Ground floor,
Large room, good bed (single), small sofa suitable perhaps
for a 5-10 year old child.
TV and video player - he even leaves some videos in the room for your use.
Excellent
neighbourhood, 5 minutes walk to Leidseplein.
Internet shop 1 street away, but unpleasant people run it. Good supermarket
and launderette (self-service or with same-day service) and lots of little shops including health food stores within 3 minutes
walk.
Good hot water and plenty of it. The bathroom is large, the shower stall tiny and slippery. All is totally clean.
There
is a full kitchen within the room, all dishes, silverware and pots provided. He provides free coffee, tea and sugar. All linens
supplied with extras in the closet if you need them. One night only was a bit cool and he turned on the heating for a couple
of hours.
The owner, Paul, is a nice person, no problems, very considerate and kind. He provides complete privacy but
with availability at all times if you need him.
